About me

As I see her

By Édua Frank

Nati she is a good friend and one of those, who we think are a "good person". I'm aware of that I started this introduction in an unaccustomed way, though I believe it suits here the best. Namely, I would like to point out how important is being a humane, that our daily life, so the things that made us to wake up every day and to life for them is determined with our human nature.

Humane and genuineness. These are important values. These are important in art too as it is the essence of the artist. No matter that we can draw beautiful pictures, or we have a certain view or conception, if the picture is not genuine so it has nothing personal from the artist, it has no value at all. Of course some choose pictures by the color of the wall, or the atmosphere of a room, but I doubt that these choices would make someone to call an artist.

Nati is an artist. She is a limner and I’m making this statement pursuant to my above mentioned opinion. Why do I think her so special? Well, I could say: "Go and see the pictures!", but inasmuch as I don't want to make my job that easy, I'll try to introduce her in a way, that not only her pictures, but my words will be also the proof of my statement. Hope I'll do this right.

I know Nati from my childhood. We attended to the same school which was a kind of artistic one. We had great fun together there, and with time our mutual affection to drawing cleared up too. I didn't become a limner, 'cause I was made to do something else, but in turn she was persistent. At first it was strange to me realizing, that she chose art as her profession, forasmuch as nowadays money rules the world. Everyone wants to earn more and more, so almost everybody chooses a moneyed profession. She was not interested in this, Nati wanted to become a limner at any price, so she decided to learn hard for it.

She didn't choose an easy way. She started her study at Mr. Jenő Kishonthy, who at first only answered to the anxious mother (whether the child was good enough for art) was simply the following: "It's not hopeless". Later on the master realized, that he chose a talented student, so he taught the basic, which later Nati could use and helped her to develop herself. She attended to Szarvas, Szombathely, Kaposvár Colleges. These times were quite tough, because she needed to change the colleges through the termination of the qualifications. Semesters started, but no one was able to finish them without finding a parallel qualification in a different college. Somebody would gave up, but not Nati. She finally finished her studies on 2008.

Contrary to all the hardship she was facing with, Nati became a limner. She has some exhibitions behind and great life experience, however it's more important to tell, that she has dozens of plans to create. Creation certainly has it’s difficulties, because man should do it precisely, he should create exactly the same, as he has it in his mind. Moreover, after it's ready, so perfect he has to let it be someone else's too.

Nati doesn't create for only herself, she does her art for us. She does it, 'cause she can do it and she believes that the one, who can create things is obligated to do it in the same time. A limner has to paint, because that makes the world colorful and valuable so whatsoever hard this way (her way) should be, she won't do anything else, than this. That's why I think her genuine, unique and special and that's the reason I wish her just the best, so a great success. Hope you agree with me.
